My family has been a loyal customer to this electronic store for more than 20 years and we are really fond of their personal service and relatively lower prices. Goh Ah Bee is a household name for people who stay in the Hougang/Kovan neighbourhood even though the shop doesn't engage in mass marketing. I suppose the store became popular with the crowd through the word of the mouth. My mother, being a cautious shopper, would always advise me to compare the prices of the electronic products that I want to buy in big electronic shops like Courts and Goh Ah Bee before making a purchase. She mentions that it is almost certain that the latter offers the same products at a lower price. I also like the friendly staff who are efficient and adequately advise me on the availability of the product that I look for promptly. However, the store only carries a rather limited range of electronic products so it might be inevitable that you may be disappointed when you are looking for something specific.
